What is an Organizational Assessment?

An organizational assessment is a respected business process used to constructively review current systems and past accomplishments.  This helps to ensure that strategic plans are effectively implemented and measured to increase future mission-centric outcomes.

This tool is essential to all organizations that deal with risk services (such as Pregnancy Medical Clinics) as it helps leadership teams evaluate programs and processes that have the highest risk to the organization.

 What will I learn?

Assess to Accelerate is designed to help leadership ensure that their organizations are relevant to the clients they serve and that they are effective change agents in their communities.  Therefore, this review process includes everything from the organization’s mission statement to donor engagement and program outcomes.

Leaders will have the opportunity to discover the following about their organizations:

  1. Team strengths/weaknesses
  2. Strategies for strengthening relationships between the board and CEO/ED
  3. The strength/weakness of alignment between mission, programs and outcomes
  4. Strengths/weaknesses in donor relationships
  5. Strengths/weaknesses in allocation of ministry funds toward mission-centric programs
  6. How to effectively establish strategic program goals and regularly monitor progress
  7. How to improve current processes to achieve greater outcomes
  8. The intricacies of dissolving programs or services that are no longer achieving the corporate mission

Who should attend?

The CEO/ED should lead the Assess to Accelerate process for his/her organization.  However, encouraging a board member and/or lead staff to attend the Webinar will allow these individuals to learn about opportunities for growth and assessment from their perspective.

We encourage organizations to have two or three participants who will see the assessment process from their own paradigm and needs.
